Ebola in DRC: A School Year Marked by Concern in Ituri

The school year started on Tuesday in the Democratic Republic of Congo, including in Ituri province, the epicenter of the Ebola outbreak. School authorities implemented safety measures, such as temperature checks for students and equipping schools with infrared thermometers, hand sanitizers, and handwashing facilities. Physical contact among children is also minimized to reduce contamination risks.
