Ebola in DRC: CENCO calls for increased mobilization

In response to the Ebola epidemic, which has caused over three thousand deaths in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the National Episcopal Conference of Congo (CENCO) calls for increased mobilization for prevention and care of the sick. Mgr Fulgence Muteba, president of CENCO, highlights challenges such as lack of equipment and demotivation among health personnel. The WHO also demands $1.3 billion to support the response to this epidemic.
