Ebola: Kenya prepares isolation services

Kenya is strengthening its preparedness measures against Ebola as the epidemic continues to spread in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda, although no cases have been reported in the country. At Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi, medical staff have been trained to detect and manage potential cases. Isolation units are ready. Dr. Duncan Nyukuri, an infectious disease specialist, has sensitized staff on how to recognize Ebola patients and respond safely.
