Ebola: Osun State Expands Awareness and Plans Emergency Isolation Facility

Osun State plans to expand Ebola awareness campaigns through radio and television broadcasts in Yoruba, Hausa and other local languages. The state steering committee called for the designated emergency isolation facility to be reclaimed and opened within one week, along with holding bays in selected hospitals and dedicated ambulances. Its recommendations also include training healthcare workers, strengthening surveillance and local response coordination, replenishing protective supplies, and regularly monitoring implementation.
