Ebola: Two Women Cured Leave the Ebola Treatment Center in Katwa, Butembo

Two women declared cured of the Ebola virus disease left the Ebola Treatment Center (CTE) in Katwa, Butembo, on September 12, 2026. They expressed gratitude to the healthcare staff for the care received. A trainee doctor was also cured and left the CTE on September 9, 2026, urging colleagues to adhere to safety measures. In total, twenty-one people have been cured since the onset of the 17th Ebola epidemic.
