Ebonyi artisans lament double taxation, harassment by revenue contractors

Artisans in Ebonyi State have raised concerns about double taxation and excessive levies imposed by revenue contractors. During a stakeholders' meeting, they called on the government to eliminate third-party involvement in the collection of internally generated revenue. The association's president, Engr. Francis John Nwebonyi, warned that the current system undermines government skills development initiatives and proposed that registered trade associations handle revenue collection.
