Edo Govt demolishes building linked to cultism, ritual activities

The Edo State Government has demolished a building in Uromi, Esan North-East Local Government Area, allegedly used for cultism and ritual activities. The operation, carried out under 'Operation Flush Out Kidnappers and Cultists', involved the Edo State Security Corps, Nigeria Police Force, and other agencies. John Izegaegbe, Secretary of the Edo State Security Squad, said the intervention followed intelligence reports and field findings. He added that the body of gatekeeper Mildah Dalandi was found decomposing in the building for about a month.
