EFCC extradites two to US over alleged child sextortion

The Lagos Zonal Directorate 2 of the EFCC extradited Mudashiru Afeez Olawale and Adebola Festus Adekunle to the United States to face charges of sexual exploitation and sextortion of two teenage boys. FBI investigations linked the suspects to sextortion schemes targeting boys aged 13 to 17, involving the use of child sexual abuse material to extort victims. The EFCC initiated extradition proceedings following a request from the FBI, which identified the suspects in tragic cases where minors died by suicide after online exploitation.
