Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma, a former member of the House of Representatives, has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to reopen and prosecute a case of alleged financial crimes involving Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Through his lawyer, Hannibal Uwaifo, Agbonayinma has given the commission 14 days to act on the request, which is based on an EFCC investigation and allegations concerning Atiku during his tenure as Vice President of Nigeria from 1999 to 2007.
