EFCC issues fresh summons to ex-Gov Sylva over alleged fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has summoned former Bayelsa State Governor Timipre Sylva over an alleged $14.86 million fraud. Sylva was declared wanted after accusing the EFCC of bias towards the All Progressives Congress and is also involved in a case of conspiracy and money laundering. He reportedly fled the country after the investigation into a plot against President Bola Tinubu's administration became public.
