EFCC to continue NFF probe despite Gusau, board members' resignations

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) stated it will continue its investigation into the utilization of the N12 billion Federal Government intervention fund allocated to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). This follows the resignation of Ibrahim Gusau, the NFF president, along with several board members. Gusau had served nearly four years and was preparing to run for re-election in September.
