Effurun Killing: PSC confirms dismissal of five police officers

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has ratified the dismissal of Assistant Superintendent of Police, ASP Nuhu, and four other officers involved in the killing of 28-year-old Mene Ogidi in Effurun, Delta State. This decision followed internal disciplinary procedures that found the officers culpable in the April 26, 2026 incident. The case file has been forwarded to the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation for vetting and prosecution.
