Egypt’s Amina Orfi becomes youngest women’s squash world number one at 19

Amina Orfi was crowned world number one in squash after defeating Hania El Hammamy 3-2 in the Qatar Classic final. At 19 years and two months old, she surpasses the previous record held by Susan Devoy, who was 20 in 1984. Orfi also became the youngest world champion in May, making her the first player to hold both junior and senior PSA titles simultaneously.
