Ekiti guber: Oyebanji formulates six issues before tribunal

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has formulated six issues for the tribunal regarding petitions arising from the June 20, 2026 governorship election. Oyebanji, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was declared the winner with 319,224 votes. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Dr Oluwole Oluyede, came second with 40,543 votes but has since withdrawn his petition. The issues focus on the competence of the petition and the validity of Oyebanji's election.
