Ekiti moves against kidnappings after pastor killed in night vigil attack

The community of Eda Oniyo in Ilejemeje Local Government Area of Ekiti State is dealing with trauma after an attack on a church that resulted in the death of a pastor known as Pastor Aregbe and the abduction of about 15 worshippers by bandits. The State Government expressed deep sorrow and promised decisive actions to rescue the victims and bring the perpetrators to justice. A high-powered security delegation has been deployed, including the police, army, and local vigilante groups.
