Ekiti: Oyebanji presents N490.74bn 2027 budget

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji presented a N490.74 billion budget estimate for 2027 to the State House of Assembly in Ado-Ekiti. The budget, called the 'Budget of Sustained Progress and Prosperity,' was presented during the 30th anniversary of Ekiti State's creation. Oyebanji highlighted that he is the first democratically elected governor in Ekiti to transfer power to the same government for a second four-year term, after winning re-election with over 85% of the votes in June 2026.
