El-Rufai to remain in custody until bail conditions are met - Judge orders

Former Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai is to remain in custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) until bail conditions are fulfilled. The trial judge, Rilwanu Aikawa, granted bail but ordered El-Rufai to stay in custody until the conditions are met. A close ally of El-Rufai described the bail conditions as outrageous, citing requirements such as landed properties and a sum of 200 million Naira.
