Elected with 94.05% of the votes, what awaits Romuald Wadagni at the head of Benin

Romuald Wadagni was elected president of Benin with 94.05% of the votes, representing over four million votes out of a total of 4.52 million. Voter participation reached 58.75%, with stronger mobilization in rural areas. Although some irregularities were reported, the Electoral Commission stated that the outcome of the election was irreversible. Opponent Paul Hounkpè acknowledged his defeat even before the official results were announced.
