Electricity, gasoline, diesel: Price increase announced in Senegal, 'in the coming days'

Interior Minister Bamba Cissé warned that the situation in the Middle East is impacting the cost of living in Senegal, particularly due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. This crisis has led several countries in the sub-region, such as Mauritania, Gambia, and Guinea-Bissau, to adjust their energy prices. In Mauritania, prices for gasoline, diesel, and electricity have already been raised since the end of April.
