Electricity Sector: Henri Pépin Krou replaces Traoré Amidou as head of Anare Ci

Henri Pépin Krou officially assumed his role as General Director of the National Authority for Electricity Sector Regulation of Côte d’Ivoire (ANARE-CI) on October 13, 2026, during a ceremony in Abidjan. He succeeds Amidou Traoré, who expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him since 2021 and wished success to his successor. The handover was presided over by Souleymane Soro, with officials from the ministry and the Regulatory Council present. Krou committed to continuing the modernization and improving the regulation of Côte d’Ivoire’s electricity sector.
