EMERGE launch game-changer for mining sector devt — Alake

Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, launched the EMERGE program in Abuja, calling it a game-changer for the sector. EMERGE focuses on mineral exploration, critical minerals, and research, aiming to generate reliable geological data and position Nigeria in the global energy transition. The Solid Minerals Development Fund (SMDF) has already facilitated a 1.5 million metric tonnes per annum aluminium refinery project.
