Enugu ADC stakeholders reject alleged imposition

A leadership dispute has arisen within the Enugu State chapter of the ADC, with some stakeholders rejecting what they see as an attempt to impose a candidate following the recent state congress. Chika Idoko, an ADC leader, claimed that an influential former governor was backing a candidate against the will of some party members. He insisted that Major General Chris Eze (retd) is the legitimate chairman of the ADC in Enugu, having emerged from the congress in accordance with party procedures.
