Enugu monarch alleges military harassment

The traditional ruler of Mbulu Owo community, Igwe Godwin Arum, has raised concerns over repeated intimidation by armed military personnel, calling for urgent intervention from the Nigerian Armed Forces. He reported that over 50 masked soldiers stormed farmland, abducting eight men working on their ancestral land. This situation has instilled fear, disrupted farming activities, and threatened food production in the area. Igwe Arum demanded the immediate release of the abducted farmers and an investigation into these actions he described as a 'dastardly act.'
