Enugu Police arrest 6,240 suspects, rescue 211 kidnapped victims in 17 months

The Enugu State Police Command arrested 6,240 suspects and rescued 211 kidnapped victims over the past 17 months. Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mamman Giwa, disclosed these figures during a working visit by Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Miller Dantawaye. Among those arrested were 158 suspected kidnappers and 186 suspected armed robbers. The police also recovered 156 firearms and 1,486 rounds of ammunition during this period.
