EPL table: Carrick's future in limbo after Man Utd's 4-4 draw with Aston Villa leaves them 18th

Manchester United drew 4-4 with Aston Villa at Old Trafford, but manager Michael Carrick could be sacked during the November international break. Alysson and Nicolas Jackson gave Villa a two-goal lead before Bruno Fernandes scored a penalty and Youri Tielemans equalised before half-time. Villa restored its two-goal advantage early in the second half, but late strikes from Joshua Zirkzee and Patrick Dorgu earned United a point. United entered the match in 19th place and now sit 18th, with Carrick's future uncertain ahead of the trip to Liverpool after the break.
