Equatorial Guinea: government resigns

Prime Minister Manuel Osa Nsue Nsua submitted the resignation of the entire government to President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo during an extraordinary cabinet meeting. The decision follows an internal evaluation showing only 10% of government objectives were achieved, deemed insufficient. Vice President Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue cited the need to strengthen administrative discipline and efficiency, while the ruling party mentioned governance shortcomings and corruption accusations.
