Era of manual inefficiency must end in Nigeria’s civil service — Tinubu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu declared that the era of manual inefficiency in Nigeria's public service must give way to transparency and accountability. At the opening of the International Civil Service Conference 2026 in Abuja, he directed all ministries and agencies to deepen digitalisation across their operations. Tinubu also revealed that 38 ministries are already operating with fully paperless electronic workflow systems.
