Eriksen breaks silence after collapsing during Denmark vs Ukraine game

Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen has spoken for the first time since collapsing during an international friendly against Ukraine on Sunday night. He posted a statement saying he is doing well and is home with his family. His implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) did exactly what it was designed to do to protect him. He is now focusing on recovery, family time, and a vacation.
