Ethiopian Airlines will resume flights to Tigray's capital on October 11

Ethiopian Airlines announced it will resume flights to Mekelle, the capital of Tigray, starting October 11, after a three-week suspension due to regional conflict. The airline had halted services on September 23 when TPLF forces took control of Mekelle airport and other regional facilities. TPLF forces withdrew from the city last week, allowing regular flights between Addis Ababa and Mekelle to restart.
