Samuel Eto'o, president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT), is facing embezzlement allegations from former executives of the federation. They claim he redirected over 567,000 euros in appearance fees into his personal account. The allegations relate to payments made by Russia for a friendly match against Cameroon in 2023. Eto'o, who denies all allegations, is also a serving member of the executive board of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
