Eto’o faces Cameroon probe over alleged Russia payment

Samuel Eto’o, former Chelsea and Barcelona forward, is under investigation for alleged financial misappropriation as president of the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT. The Association of Amateur Football Clubs of Cameroon (ACFAC) has initiated a formal inquiry following reports of financial irregularities, including an unlawful payment of approximately €567,000 from the Russian Football Union. ACFAC also intends to pursue legal action against Eto’o and file a complaint in Russia against the Russian Football Union.
