European troops prepare for possible post-ceasefire deployment to Ukraine

French- and British-led military drills in Poland will test how quickly 2,800 troops from 10 European countries could deploy. The forces could be sent to Ukraine if a ceasefire is reached. The exercises will assess European troops’ readiness for such a deployment.
