In Agadir, 33-year-old Mustapha Harmouch searches the beach with a metal detector, drawn by the uncertainty of what each signal might reveal. He bought his Tianxun TX 850 detector about four years ago and sometimes shares his outings on Stofishing, his travel and spearfishing YouTube channel, which has roughly 123,000 subscribers. His finds include old coins associated with places such as the Al Haouz region and Fez.
