Ex-Accord presidential candidate backs APC’s Oyebamiji

The ex-Accord presidential candidate, Christopher Imumolen, has declared his support for the APC's governorship candidate in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, ahead of Saturday's governorship election. He stated that his faction had withdrawn its support for the incumbent governor and Accord candidate, Ademola Adeleke, and directed members of the party to vote for Oyebamiji. This decision comes after Imumolen withdrew from the 2027 presidential race and endorsed President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid.
