Ex-CEO of Italian motorway sentenced to 12 years for Genoa bridge collapse

The former CEO of Atlantia, Giovanni Castellucci, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for his role in the 2018 collapse of the Morandi bridge in Genoa, which killed 43 people. The Genoa court found him guilty of vehicular homicide and negligence. Two other executives were sentenced to 5.5 and 11 years. In total, 32 people were convicted in a trial that has become a symbol of Italy's decaying infrastructure.

State ordered to produce key records in Kenya Pipeline sale

The High Court ordered the Kenyan government to produce key records, including valuation reports, Cabinet memoranda, procurement records, and IMF agreements, in a petition challenging the privatization of Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC).
