Ex-governor Nwobodo slams N20bn libel suit against Lagos businessman

Former Anambra State governor Jim Nwobodo has filed a libel suit in an Enugu High Court against Lagos businessman Basil Ogbuanu. Nwobodo accuses Ogbuanu of illegally developing land he sold, leading to government demolitions. In retaliation, Ogbuanu allegedly launched media campaigns damaging to Nwobodo's reputation, who is seeking N20 billion in damages. He also requests an injunction to prevent the publication of any defamatory material against him.
