Ex-Kano governor dumps APC

Former Kano State governor, Kabiru Gaya, has resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC). In a letter to the ward chairman, he stated that the decision was made in the best interests of his constituents and in line with his personal convictions. Gaya expressed gratitude to the party for the support received during his tenure as a senator from 2015 to 2023.
