The Okpekpe community in Edo State is facing a dire security situation, as reported by former local government chairman Princess Benedicta Attoh. She noted that about 10 people have been killed by bandits and kidnappers since November 2024, with recent incidents including the kidnapping of three individuals on the Ebelle–Amughe road.
