Ex-Man City defender, Jerome Boateng gets coaching job

Jerome Boateng, former Manchester City and Bayern Munich defender, has taken a new coaching role as assistant coach at Trabzonspor, according to Fabrizio Romano. He retired from professional football on September 19, 2025, at age 37. During his career, he won nine German championships, two Champions Leagues, five DFB Cups with Bayern Munich, and the 2014 FIFA World Cup with Germany.
