Excellence Award in Plateau: Over 258 million FCFA mobilized to support merit

The 8th edition of the Ehouo Jacques Gabriel Excellence Award took place on September 3, 2026, at the Plateau town hall, with a budget of over 258 million FCFA for 3,650 beneficiaries. This edition saw the municipality expand the circle of awardees by recognizing the top ten students at each educational level. Financial rewards for the top three in each category ranged from 200,000 to 1.3 million FCFA, while scholarships and educational materials were also provided to schools.
