EXCLUSIVE | Vuyo Mere backs Mamelodi Sundowns' stacked right-back battle

Vuyo Mere, a former Mamelodi Sundowns defender, commented on the intense competition for the right-back position at the club, which currently features five quality players. The club recently signed Thabang Matuludi and Deano van Rooyen, adding to Khuliso Mudau, Thapelo Morena, and Zuko Mdunyelwa. Injuries to Mudau and Morena prompted the team to sign Van Rooyen and Matuludi, despite some critics suggesting the signings were panic buys.
