Explosion rocks Kubwa gas outlet, motorist allegedly crashes into shop

An explosion occurred at a gas refilling station near Liberty Junction in Kubwa, Abuja, causing panic among residents. Firefighters from the Federal Fire Service, FCT, responded around 6:30 am to contain the fire, preventing a major gas explosion. Witnesses claimed the fire started after a motorist driving against traffic crashed into the shop where gas cylinders were stored, though this has not been independently verified.
