World Bank: Portfolio now valued at 1,806 billion FCFA, down from 2,700 billion announced for 2025

The Ministry of Economy (Minepat) has assessed the cooperation portfolio between Cameroon and the World Bank Group at 3.2 billion dollars, approximately 1,806 billion FCFA. This amount is 1.3 billion dollars lower than that presented during the joint review in April 2025, representing a 28.9% decrease in dollars. This assessment was communicated following a meeting between Minister Alamine Ousmane Mey and Harold Tavares, administrator of the Africa II Group at the World Bank.
