Factional Adamawa ADC secures congress victories despite court order

The Adamawa State chapter of the ADC, loyal to Babachir Lawal, secured victories in state, local government, and ward congresses despite a court order suspending the exercise. Sadiq Ibrahim Dasin was elected as the new State Chairman, along with other key executive council members. Organizers claimed they were unaware of the court order, amid intense intra-party rivalry between Lawal and Atiku Abubakar.
