Families of missing persons recount agony at Adamawa gathering

People whose relatives have gone missing due to attacks shared their anguish during a gathering in Yola, Adamawa State, for the International Day of the Disappeared. Joshua Audu, Secretary of the Missing Persons Families Association, emphasized that each day is filled with unanswered questions and that families face emotional stress and economic hardships. Approximately 17,000 people are missing in Nigeria, with 14,500 in the North-East, primarily due to insurgency.
