Family Receives NSSF Survivors’ Benefits After Three Years of Delay

The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) paid survivors’ benefits to two individuals after more than three years of delay. The beneficiaries, who lost their mother in March 2007, submitted a claim in August 2022 but received no updates for over three years. After a formal complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman, the NSSF processed their claim, and the family confirmed receipt of the benefits on February 27, 2026.
