FASEG: New revelations about the 5 billion FCFA that UCAD must pay to three students

The Supreme Court ordered UCAD to pay a fine of 5 billion FCFA for the delayed reintroduction of three students, Aliou Gningue, Cheikh Tidiane Diop, and Mamour Diongue, expelled in 2016 following campus disturbances. The fine, calculated over nearly 1,546 days, results from a court decision not yet enforced, with the judge moderating the amount from an estimated over 15 billion FCFA. The liquidation is provisional, no payment has been made yet, and collecting the sum will be difficult due to OHADA immunity provisions.
