Fass Mbao: Death toll rises after attack on Siggil Yeumbeul’s convoy

Clashes in Fass Mbao during wrestler Siggil Yeumbeul’s convoy journey to the National Arena have left four people dead. The escorted convoy was reportedly blocked at the Tally Mame Diarra roundabout by a crowd carrying stones and bladed weapons, in an attack believed to be linked to rival supporters seeking revenge. Police used tear gas, while investigators are reviewing surveillance footage to identify those responsible.
