FCT: 'They never demanded N1bn, compensation for emirs' - Wike hails Abuja community

Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike praised the Tunga Madaki community in Abuja for not demanding N1 billion or 'tithes to Emirs and Chiefs' before allowing road construction. The community requested employment and roads, which have been provided. Wike urged other communities to emulate this example. The event took place during the commissioning of the road linking Bill Clinton Drive to Tunga Madaki, as part of President Bola Tinubu's third year in office.
