Fear grips Ondo community as gunmen kidnap council worker

Suspected gunmen have kidnapped Mr. Gbenga Sanni, an official of Akure North Local Government, in Ilu-Abo community, Akure, Ondo State. The incident occurred in front of his home at Agbelere area. The assailants reportedly emerged from a nearby bush and whisked the victim away to an unknown destination. His wife and two children were inside the house and watched helplessly. The police have confirmed the abduction and launched a manhunt.
